SZSR FBIH is...

SZSR FBiH is a non-profit and non-governmental organization that promotes a healthy lifestyle, human rights, and inclusiveness through sports. The organization brings together over 50 sports clubs, organizations and companies, focusing on sports for all. The Alliance advocates equality, integration and accessibility of sport for all members of society, regardless of age, abilities or social status.

Our mission

The mission of the Federation is to provide high-quality sports content and services, which include recreational sports, educational programs for youth and inclusive sports activities. In addition to the local level, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina actively participates in international projects and cooperates with organizations across Europe, to expand the network and make sports accessible to the wider community.

Goals and activities

The SZSR FBiH sets high standards for the construction and maintenance of sports facilities, promotes ethical business practices, provides education to members, and works to strengthen trust in the sports industry through consulting and dispute resolution. The association’s activities include:

  • Raising awareness about the values ​​of recreational sports
  • Educating youth through sports
  • Promotion of sports as part of the cultural and spiritual values ​​of society
  • Organization of competitions and sports events in accordance with the rules of international sports federations.

SZSR FBiH is developing from a local sports initiative into an organization that encompasses a wide range of recreational and sports activities, to involve as many people as possible in sports, as well as strengthening communities through joint sports activities.
