At a recent online partner meeting held on April 15, 2025, the Sport and Recreation Federation of BiH (SZSR), represented by Ismail Šehić, reported on the current progress of the ORIUNITE project.

Maps for the Sarajevo area are currently available, while feedback is still pending regarding potential locations in Mostar. In order to find the optimal terrain for future events, intensive negotiations are underway with local orienteering and sports clubs.

Interestingly, plans include involving other sports organizations, such as darts and billiards clubs, to further expand the visibility and reach of the activities.

A special focus of the work will be directed toward organizing cultural events that will span locations across Bosnia and Herzegovina. To ensure the best possible preparation for the international training, which is planned for November 2025 on the island of Brač in Croatia, a series of pre-training sessions will also be organized.

Active work on promoting the project continues, and the next joint meeting with partners is scheduled for June 19, 2025.
